Incrementalism. That is their game. Probably 90% of the stuff the federal government controls is what I like to call extra-constitutional, ie., outside the enumerated powers granted to the federal government in the constitution. As you probably already know, the powers of the federal government are enumerated in the constitution. ALL else is reserved to the states. Period. Try telling that to the federal government now. They don't want to hear it. It is up to the states to do something about it.
So, I agree. Execs make WAY too much money. But, it is not the federal government's job to dictate such things. THAT is not in keeping with liberty and the free-market economy.
