Apparently if you fish 2 long planks of wood from the canal after they have floated in there for 3 days and leave them on your dock it gives the right to anyone to come by and take them, if they were yours, you could have been decent enough to come to the door and tell the people thank you, if you took them and they were not yours I would assume the home owners docks is private property, I am smart enough to believe they were in a boat when they took the wood so maybe it was Pirates....
