69.151.208.232I had my windows replaced with impact rated windows.....expensive but now I do not have to have shutters.. There is a local window guy. 198.22.21.50This is who made wind shields that I can install myself from the second floor. No ladders required. No nails or screw drivers either.

They did an excellent job. Cleaned up after themselves and matched the trim on the house. The shields are also TDI windstorm certified. They held up very well in IKE no water in the upper floor at all. Good investment.
