Vote for Bill Alcorn

I am currently serving on the MUD board and have for over ten years. I assumed the duties of President when Billie Moore retired. I could have remained a director, but no one wanted to try to lead the MUD. Remember ALL decisions have been made by a majority of the board. With the board that will be seated in May, important decisions will have to be made and I feel that with my past experience that I should remain on the Board. Mistakes have been made and will be made again. The primary goal of all directors is to furnish the best product possible with the lowest cost to the consumer. I feel that for the past years the board has done an excellent job of slowly updating equipment and plant repairs while trying to hold costs in line. Much work needs to be done on a 25 year old plant and I feel that with my experience that I will be an asset to the community. |
I am retired and have the time and have had the time to work with our current suppliers, engineers, accountant and attorney for the past ten years. I take the position on the MUD board very seriously and work every day to improve our district. You may want to look on the bio section of the website to get a partial list of projects and improvements that have been made in the past ten years and now a list of future projects is available. This does not show the various meetings, training, and coordination that has been achieved through Galveston County, GCWA, Brazos Valley Group, Highland Bayou Group, ACOE, and others. I am asking that you, as voters, keep the experience.
I am asking for your vote for Bill Alcorn to stay on this Board
Thank you very much for the past and am looking forward to serving you in the future
