'Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are (as) a mist...

...that appears for a little while and then vanishes." James 4:14, from the Bible... (reading gets even somber-er from there!) |
But to stay on the bright side of things...
I learned in the last few weeks just how precious life is, and how important those special moments and people are. In our fast-paced and busy lives we can often forget what's important, what things we appreciate, and who we truly treasure in our lives.
Within the span of a few weeks, I've lost some very important people to me. Devon and I lost our eldest dog, 'Harley' who had the utmost appreciation for life, food, and comfy-couch-a/c-time. He passed away at 16 years of age, but is still with us in our hearts, and thoughts (in dog years, let's see, 7 times 16, that'd be about 112 years old!), I also learned that a life-long friend from my hometown of Tulsa, Joel, passed away in a freak accident caused by an explosion of a brand new Nissan he had just recently purchased. That, and a dear friend in our own neighborhood, Connie, finally (yet suddenly, to me) found rest after months of medical complications.
It was an immediate wake-up call, for me, to treasure those that are a part of our lives, and be sure to shine and bring good things to others we connect and relate to, each and every day.
Amidst all of that, my girlfriend Devon and I BOTH lost our phones in the span of a week, including all contacts and pictures and things we accessed from it!
As a warning, admonishment, reminder, or the like, I'd like to let you know that I have Affordable Information Technology Services Available to you -
**** "...but to what end, friend?' you may ask.
Allow me to help you back up your computers, laptops, phone contacts, pictures, videos and documents. It will give you piece of mind, and also the power to access and recall and reach out to memories, pictures, videos and information to keep people alive in your memories, and active in your daily lives.
I can also help you take pictures and videos of events, gatherings of friends, quirks your animals display, and other things that you'd like to preserve that brighten your day.
I can even give simple instruction on things like managing your facebook page, to reach out to friends and family, bury hatchets, dig up treasured memories, and more, if that's an area you want to explore. Feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to learn more.
A good friend once said, 'We're all so tender in so many ways,' and another great friend reminded me, 'We all go through stuff in life.'
You are not alone, you make a difference, tell others that they do, too, and let your love shine through!
Carpe Diem! (A shortened version of the original Latin phrase "Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero" meaning "seize the day, trusting as little as possible in the future.")
