Mud 12 water reduction mandatory
As stated in La Marques next door message.
GCWA WATER LINE REPAIR UPDATE: Wednesday, November 14, 2018
After completing a preliminary assessment of a leaking 42inch water line on Wednesday, Nov. 14, Gulf Coast Water Authority (GCWA) said this 42 inch line would be out of service for repairs for at least the next 48 hours. GCWA will provide an update on Thursday after further examination of the 42-inch line.
Since taking the line out of service early Wednesday, GCWA is using alternate water lines to supply Galveston Island. Additionally, the communities of Tiki Island, Bayou Vista, Hitchcock and Santa Fe, as well as portions of La Marque and Dickinson, are using their their wells.
Mud 12 has been proactive in storing the maximum amount of water possible and are currently using our well for our primary source. Until the line is repaired, we are issuing a mandatory reduction of 25% until further notice.
Please discontinue outside use. This includes no watering of plants and no filling of pools.
Thank you for conserving our precious water.

Mr. Matthews may not realize that B.V., with the majority of ratepayers in the district has our own message board and that now all use Nextdoor, or that was a message for Omega Bay. Better communication is a needed.
