Posted by Shawn To vaguely answer your question: It all depends on what part of the country, what part of the world you're in, & which bottling. I've seen the three bottle sets (29, 30, & 31 year old) going from US$7,500 to US$11,500.00 and more. Individual bottles seem to be priced between US$1,800 to US$2,400. depending on condition (fill) and the attitude & (positive nature) of the seller. During the "Dot.com" boom, it wasn't unusual to pay upward of +US$3,000 for any bottling. The wax seals of the 1st bottling are much more delicate today than they were even five (5) years ago. I've sent "hand-carried" (passenger hand-carried it onto the airplane) wax sealed 1st Editions from Las Vegas to NYC twice, only to have them returned because they "seeped" and couldn't be wrapped tight enough to later ship the bottles anywhere in the world by the retailer.
