Posted by Wayne I got the bottle in 1994 or 1995, from Park Avenue Liquor. I believe it was one of only three in NYC at the time. There are no flaws. Except for fingerprints, it is perfect. Although I think it may be from the first edition, I could be wrong. It is not marked "Final Edition". Park Avenue now has one bottle for sale at $3600. I do not yet know what edition of the three that one is. I will call them tomorrow to find out. James McEwan first tasted me on it that year in a private whisky tasting I attended. When I secured the bottle, he told me not to open it, which I found odd. I now know why. I need to first confirm what edition it is, and then try to determine its' value. Any comments? A year or so ago, at a Bowmore tasting in NYC, I was told one bottle had then recently sold at auction in London for more than $2000. I had no interest in selling it then. Of course, if I sell it now, I will want the highest price I can get for it. Wayne![]()
