I have one with 4 Katahdin hairsheep. She was right there when the babies were born and helped to lick them off. She is a big baby with me and my hubby but anyone else tries to go in the pen with her sheep look out she will eat there socks off. She is 3 and just getting her dreads, but when they are working dogs they are not pretty and white like the show dogs. Actually you really can't have one of these for just a yard dog, they will kill anything that comes into their yard or pen. They are ferocious with coyotes though. We have tried the Llama way and they are pretty good, but they get a worm from deer and die very easy. We wormed ours every 3 months. we were told every 6 months and that still wasn't enough.
