I have never shown my own Boston Terriers in AKC shows, I have handled others BTs in AKC rings as well as when I was younger I handled my moms Miniature Pinschers. My mom and I do show our own Bostons of nontraditional coloring in an alternate registry, the UCA, as they allow the conformation showing of Bostons of color.
I am not sure that I completely understand your question but I assume that your asking me if I enjoy the show even if my dog is the only one in the class but does not place in group. I thoroughly enjoy showing each and everytime I go in the ring, I have a preference for showing my own Bostons of color rather than other peoples in AKC because they are our doggies. I make it a point to make it fun for my doggie no matter the result so they know I am proud and we are having fun together win or lose. It is really something to get out there and participate with your doggies. I am sorry if I misunderstood your question.
