All those little alphabet named roads are fun to explore. Stillwater MN heading E and NE can be good too. Just a matter of exploring really, but 65 out of Star Prairie WI is good. You can ride winding backroads all the way up to Duluth. Highway 1 in Ely is great but a little farther. Check the construction schedule. Last summer I had a blast in Rhinelander WI and the roads North of it. La Crosse is a frequent destination too, especially Mindoro Cut. Also, some people talk about going up to Angle Inlet which sounds kinda fun. But if you're interested in a longer drive then the North Shore of Lake Superior is awesome. Maybe not the best twisties, but the scenery can't be beat. It is a 1050 mile loop Duluth to Duluth. As for GS rides... I wish I knew! I ride the graded ATV trails I know of, which run from Amery to Turtle Lake (search Cat Tail Trail). There are some more in Clayton WI. I ride alone so I don't venture into too rough of terrain. The club has its GS ride in June and I have a Cook County backroad route sheet I got from someone on the Internet. Plus there is the Great River Gravel Road ride that would be fun: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=163609 Good Luck.

I'm not a definitive source, but here are my opinions on local rides...
