If you plan on following the river on the Wisconsin side, you should experience the Rustic Road near Maiden Rock. Especially if you are GS riders. Can't leave till afternoon but I can share some info.
If you are planing on Hwy 61 on the Minnesota side. Be careful for speed traps. I had 2 turn around and follows and 1 radar trap comming back from the GRRR this spring. Maybe it was the headlight modulator or just the RS factor, but I'm glad I was feeling easy on the return trip.
