In case you still looking for something to do this weekend and missed it on the other lists.
Come up and spend a day or stay for the weekend.
September 4, 5, 6 & 7
Handeland Acres Camp Out / White Pine Logging and Threshing Show
Join the MN Airheads for a relaxing and fun weekend.
Open to Airheads, BMWMOCM and guests.
Free primitive camping at Handeland Acres with outhouse restroom,
water, picnic tables, gas grill, coolers with ice and fire ring.
Campground opens at noon on Friday and closes at 11 a.m. Monday.
Story telling around the campfire Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings.
Saturday, group ride to the White Pine Logging and Threshing Show.
Over 250 old tractors, grain threshing, shingle making , barrel making, lumber sawing, 250 hp Nordberg Steam Engine, 60 hp Patten hit-n-miss engine and much more including all those "cool old motors that could rip an arm off".
Admission to the logging and threshing show; Daily $10 or weekend $15.
Groceries, beer and other supplies 10 miles away in Isle MN.
Meals may be available at the show.
You’re on your own for food and refreshments or we can pass the hat for a group meal.
From Hwy 65 and Hwy 18 (just south of McGrath, MN) go 4 miles west on
hwy 18, turn right on 250th Ave (Bear Lake Road), one mile turn right on 150th lane (Holden Road) then one mile to the driveway. Follow the signs to the campground. This includes two+ miles of maintained dirt road.
Please ride slow past the farms and homes on the dirt road as there may be children playing.
Visitors are welcome too, but if you choose to drink, please plan to camp.
