Posted by Kyle I have been a lover of BMW motorcycles for years and finally am the proud owner of a 1996 GS. I have put 7k on this year that is up until 3 weeks ago when I had a problem. I have no compression in one of my cylinders and am not comfortable enough with this machine yet to make my own repairs. The bike has been in a very reputable shop in Minnesota but it hasn't even been touched yet because of their back log. It is my only bike so I am going nuts not being able to ride. I am curious to know of a list of mechanics in Minnesota that anyone would recommend. I don't need it for this repair but for future repair and reference and who knows where I will be when something may happen so where every in the State is fine. I ride often in the surrounding states so if you are viewing this post from Wi, ND, SD, Iowa I would love to hear from you too. Thanks everyone, Kyle
