The interview must have gone okay. What they told #1 son is that basically, they were looking for someone with a little more experience than he has (we knew that - the ad said 6 months experience) BUT they had several positions he might be interested in coming open in the next few weeks and if he was, to give them a call. To me, that sounds like they like him but think he's not quite ready yet (which is probably true). Note - they said give them a call and gave him a number, not submit an application - that leads me to hope there will be a phase 2. If they hadn't liked him they wouldn't have mentioned coming attractions and invited him to call. No?
Am I being overly optimistic here??
