I heard from Deb today. Mickey is doing okay. He had a bit of a setback this week and was back in the hospital with a blood and kidney infection but it's under control and he's back in the rehab.
Apparently he's quite understandable over the phone, especially around meal time and enjoys getting calls. She's encouraging folks to give him a call to say hi. His memory is not real great though. He's still not ambulatory so she thinks he'll be there for awhile yet.
