I just heard from Deb. She was pretty upbeat.
Apparently, Mickey's still been having problems with the kidney infection. He's back in the hospital and she thinks he'll probably stay there for a week or so. She believes they are making good progress with getting the infection under control.
Deb also told me his speech is getting clearer and he's using language more in the way he used to. He's remembering bits and pieces but still doesn't always make sense. All in all, she seems pleased with his progress although she is not optimistic about the probability of his getting enough body functionality (walking) to come home.
