Both Dale Sr. and Bobby Sr. were 49 years old. Both have sons to carry on their names and hopefully their companies. Both scored their final Winston Cup victories in Talladega in thrilling races (one coming from 18th to first in five laps and one winning a caution free race). Both scored wins for Andy Petree (the only drivers to do so for him). Both were two of the only Cup drivers who didn't give a crap what anyone thought and told you what was on their minds, not what you wanted to hear.
