I was part of BHR2 in the 2004 season when Chase Montgomery was driving the #8. That same year mid season Jim Harris brought several of his #59 trucks and his crew to Bobby's and Bobby helped to bring them back up to speed. He did a damn good job of it too. Bobby Jr was driving the truck and almost got a win until he missed a shift and Bobby Sr. ran into him. After 04 thats when there began the slight decline. Really the #4 Timthony Peters and #18 Chase Montgomery were just young development drivers. Same went for the 2006 season TP in the #4 and Scott Lagasse in the #04 But your right it almost seemed to become to much for the guys at BHR.
I left shorty after the 2004 season which I still regret to this day. Everyone there was great it was one of the best places I ever worked for, while Bobby was there.
