Bank of Brandywine

My grandfather, Herman Badenhoop founded the Southern Maryland German-American Bank (the Bank of Brandywine). I know it later merged with another bank and eventually the Brandywine bank closed. I have a photo of the original building (my mother and her father on the porch). We've tried to locate that building but couldn't find it. Does anyone know when it started and what happened to it?
