There's a Brandywine (Aquasco to Oxon Hill) Free Cycle email list where you can give away stuff you don't want so that it doesn't just go to the land fill and you can get free stuff that others are giving away. (Note: There have been other free offers posted to this site, but if they're not related to the Brandywine area specifically, I consider them spam and remove them.)
