Beryl Patullo of Melbourne advised that the family name of THOMAS was changed from HONIBALL prior to the family coming to Australia from Cornwall in the UK. Beryl also pointed out there
was some cloud of suspicion over Joseph THOMAS concerning an incident in which a young boy was drowned whilst the two of them were collecting muscels.
