i have just got out of mettings with doug and tracy in which dale green, mike wiese, steve downs, stan learkamp, steve grove and i have just helped put together a $50,000, thats right!, three day race to be held on aug 15,16,17th 2008 this should be an awesome opertunity for guys to race for real payouts and have a great time so i am optimistic. in response to brian sells take on pacific. at first i thought what a negetive outlook. but after some thought and discussion i changed my outlook. i have some of the same expierences as you guys and have been dissapointed. but after the four or so meetings i have had in the last 6 weeks with doug, tracy, and the rest of the guys i think you guys should hold those negative thoughts and give these guys a chance.the changes they are making to scheduling so that we get full days and weekends of bracket racing instead of trying to cram it into a saturday night and the improvements that are coming both in personel and facilities are going to make a difference. i have a little different perspective because of these meetings. so hang in there guys we may be seeing a better racing future ahead at pacific raceways. the choices i see ahead of us are to be negative and watch our racing opertunities disapear or be positive and think of ways to help in a constructive way.
