Clayton High School seniors Jesse Jones and Stormie Wiseman have been selected as first alternates for the New Mexico All-State Band Festival to be held in Albuquerque in January, 2006.
As first alternates, the students will be asked to perform only if a band member ahead of them is unable to participate; but the designation is certainly one of honor and reflects both Jesse's and Stormie's hard work and dedication on their respective musical instruments--Jesse, trumpet; and Stormie, french horn.
Jesse is the son of Terrell and Michelle Jones. Stormie is the daughter of Lonnie and Shirley Wiseman. Congratulations to them both!
