Way to Go, Band! First time out with a new director and in the ROUGHEST district in NM......Great Job.
Here's some history....I took the Roy band down there in 71....we also got twos across the board and a one in sight-reading. We were extremely proud, as you should be.
Back in the 60s, the famous 101 member C.H.S. band went to contest in the Southeastern NM district....got a three, and vowed never to go back.
So you see, it's not quantity, but quality that counts....and you guys certainly have the quality.
I'll put a notice on the website proper when I can...right now my computer is down with viruses and I'm typing this note from my job at the Eklund.
