Greetings All,

I'm curious how the club got it's name. As you can see I have the same surname and my heritage comes from the UK. Coincidentally I currently live in a town named Stafford in the state of Virginia, USA..

I'm curious if there is a link, and perhaps a town or village of the same name.

I will also be visiting the UK (Loudwater) in the next few weeks and may have time to make a side trip to the team's hometown.
