Wow,Well, I am a drive in nut! Cahokia Drive In was closest to Centerville and it had the dancing indian neon sign. The Falcon was right next to the Cahokia Mounds site. The Futura was in Cahokia and it did have a neon rocket that looked like it was shooting straight up.There was some confusion with that sign because the SkyView Drive In also had a rocket but it looks like it`s shooting sideways.SkyView is still running after all of these years. We go all summer and can`t wait till the scary movies start running for October! The French Village Drive In was neat also while it was running. It had a paint brush and a pallet with paint on it in neon colors.Shop City was alos another one in the area but we did not go to that one .It was in East St Louis and even at that time in the 60s and 70s East St Louis was not very safe.My mom and dad said No way.I did not really understand then ,but I do now.Drive In`s are the best!
