Mr Mayhan was truly an original, straight out of Mayberry, like sherriff Taylor. He not only gave kids in cityview where he was from candy, but he gave kids candy all across Cahokia. I know things and times have changed, along with the crimes, but if only our police could connect with the young children the way he did. Maybe it would curb crime in the future. If Mr Mayhan caught you doing wrong he would first scold you and set you straight then he would go to your house and tell your parents. Then the punishment would be invoked. May he rest in peace, and God be with his family. Bruce Radford, and the Radford Family
