I too agree, those days at the rink were the best. The mrmories will never fade. I remember going Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and of course Friday and Saturday night and for the most part we would also go during the day on Saturday, Sunday, and most holidays. And someone mentioned Wednesday night as being Dime night, well if I knew how to post these enduring peice of history I would. I have a beautiful Dime Night Pass from the Commanche Roller Rink.I have a challenge for all, lets get togther for a roller rink reunion, we can go to the Fun Spot in Belleville. I have been recently, to a few birthday parties there nad loved it, the nostalgia comes flooding back. Everyone was amazed at how good of a skater i was. I even beat out some little kids at shoot the duck and I am 48 years old. So we are never to old. Lets set a date for all to show up, lets give everyone a chance to attend though so lets get the ball rolling or should I have said lets get the skates rolling. Maybe a skate in the fall or early winter. We can all turn those memories into realities, by getting together and seeing those faces that were once so young return to the floor.
