That's almost NO information to go by. You do not mention the camera model, make, or for that matter what operating system you are using.
Sometimes, Windows XP can recognize a camera and it will show up as a drive on your computer automatically and you can drag and drop pics from the camera into the computer. Sometimes not and you will need the install CD. Your best bet is to get a USB memory card reader which will allow you to insert the memory card and transfer photos that way.
If you need the CD, contact the manufacturer and I'm sure they'll be able to direct you to one or send one out.
