sports pictures

I am looking for a camera that takes good indoor(gymnasium) sports shots with low light setting.
I got a Kodak z710 the pictures a clear during my sons basketball game but dark any suggestions?
I am open to buying a new camera I just got this and can return. All my other pics come out awesome. Thank you
