Well, I'm new with the Canon Digital Camera. All I really want to do at this point is know whether I should have the Flash on or off in the Pets and Kids mode on my Canon PowerShot A550 camera. The problem is when I have the Flash off in that mode it blurs no matter what. And I have to have a Flash on when I'm trying to keep up with children and pet movements.

No, I don't have a tripod but I don't see how I could follow movements and have the camera on the tripod.
