I guess I was trying too hard to look for something wrong. I connected the camera to my computer and windows photo gallery did the rest. Pix and video came out pretty good. Only thing is that I did not get a user manual with the camera, so I have to use trial and error to get the pix I want. But other than that it's ok. However, next time, I will purchase a name brand in a reputable store. I think they would be more user friendly.
