I was thinking of this camera, but emailed sweepstakes clearinghouse to ask what the optical zoom if any is on the camera and where the lens is. The "lens" label in the picture looks like the viewfinder, so where is the lens really. Also, can't you save pix to the SD card and put that into your computer when the chip is full instead of direct download? How long do the batteries last? Thanks for whatever any of you can do since I too cannot find out the name of the manufacturer. I wonder why they are so secretive. Terry
