digital camera selection

i am having trouble finding a digital camera with all of the features i need. can someone suggest something for me?
-8 MP of higher
-lcd screen and viewfinder
-around $200
-not sure what this is called - i want something that takes rapid pictures - the one i have and the new one i bought are very slow - by the time the photo is taken my son has moved and i miss the shot - is it called shutter lag?
-would prefer a camera that takes rechargeable 11 batteries but this isn't a must have

if you have any suggestins for me please share!
