Posted by HOST Running a web site can be very expensive. When you have a site hosted, you must pay monthly fees which are based on "bandwidth" used. The more folks who view your site, the more you must pay out in bandwidth charges. I do not have pop-up ads on my site, and I do not seek out advertising or banner ads, either, so your viewing can be ad-free. I also do not charge a membership or viewing fee, nor do I require mandatory payment for personally answering digicam questions via emails. As a result, I pay for all site expenses out of my own pocket. ANY donations viewers wish to throw my way will go toward site expenses, and are greatly appreciated. I am adding a link just below that goes to the "Q&A" page of the site; by scrolling to the bottom, there is an area where folks can donate $2, $5, or $10 (this area is also at the bottom of the "Gallery" page). If you've found information on the site or this message board helpful, please take a moment to make a small donation so we can keep the main site up and running for others to benefit from. If you need more info on how to donate, feel free to email. Thank you Link: Click here for the Q&A page, and scroll to the bottom for donations.![]()

As some may know, I do the site Digital Camera Basics as a labor of my love for digital photography. I appreciate being able to help others who are new to this, and appreciate all of the kind emails folks send me to let me know the site is helping them out.
Thank you for your visit! Come back often! To return to the Digital Camera Basics web page, simply click the link for it at the top of this page that says, "Back to Digital Camera Basics".
