Oh, Shannon, trust me....I live here. I know what goes on. The 2 boys must be really nice dogs to get put on PF. Usually they don't bother. The people that answer the phones are nice people, but they can't release a dog to you. The director does that, and he won't let "adoptable" dogs go to rescue. And the "unadoptables" are PTS. I am certainly not trying to be mean, but am just trying to make you aware that LRAS is a one-way street for dogs, unless you have a local adopter. The redeeming quality of this shelter is that they do use injection to euth, rather than gas or shooting in the head (yep, some shelters in AR still do that...).
