Stormy is to be bounced again.I hate this bouncing business worse than anyone. Her foster family feels they cannot give her the time and patience she so desperately needs. Stormy is a dog that we pulled from Levy in FLorida, just short of being killed by heartstick. A foster MOm stepped up to temp foster her so we could get her HW treated. She was HW heavy positive. She went through her treatment and then because she appears older than she is (rough life for Stormy) there was no interest. The plan was to fly her to Calif to a more permanent situation, but that failed and so the offer came for her to be transported to a new foster offer in PA. Stormy has been allowed to roam prior to shelter life, she has never had much focus and is starved for attention, very needy. This rubs some people but most people love her. She is very very sweet. Crating is a plus for her and she does protest sometimes, but she just needs time to understand that crating every day WILL BE. She will settle in. WE NEED CONSISTENCY.. something she has never had. So now she has to go somewhere. Kelly is in the process of moving into a new home and really needed more time but has offered to foster her again for me IF I can get her BACK to TAMPA. I could fly her but we have spent so much on HW treatment and on a car ride to PA, I would like to save some funds to save another dog if I can. Abbey transported she and Lana/Lyric together to PA to what we had hoped was a more long term situation. Stormy is about to believe that she is a Gypsy. SOOO.. I need some contacts that will do a paid transport. I am worried about relay transport. Stormy is fun loving and loves to play, lets run away. We want to be sure she doesn't get away in transport. IS anyone traveling around Thanksgiving time? I really don't want to delay her move very long. If I could do it yesterday I would. I am open to any long term options. She needs time this time. Stormy is frustrated because she wants someone to hang out with, take long walks with, another dog friend to play with. She so desperately wants to be important to someone, to be loved. She is fine with cats. She over loves food so needs to be taught a few manners but she is a good girl with a big heart. Please see her photo below. Any problem she has was put there by humans and their lack, she is waiting for someone to step up to the plate and just love her for who she is, help her overcome the minor things she has never had help with. Commitment is so vital to a dog in need that has been asking for it for so long.
