I am at a loss. I have a 2 year old male neutered catahoula I don't know what to do with. We have had him for a year. He is generally very protective and loving, but today he bit my 5 year old on his face. He has chased, caught, and killed a couple of wild bunnies running in our back yard, he has also nipped at some of my sons friends, and two days ago attacked my mom's Pomeranian. The thought of having him put down breaks my heart, but several people have told me it is what I "need" to do. I am hoping there is some hope for this guy. He sleeps with my ten year old son every night, he lives with another smaller dog and a very old cat who he doesn't fight with or attack, but my youngest son now has a large tooth mark down the side of his face and I can't risk something worse happening. Can anyone help?
