Misty Blue eye-one look at her unusual eyes (one ice blue, the other chestnut brown) and you are hooked! She is a real attention getter. Misty is smart, affectionate and very eager to please. She is a high energy girl who loves to run and play but can also really relax and enjoy the simple life of a dog. Besides being very good looking, she walks great n a lash and loves car rides. She has completed a 6 week training course at the shelter and has nice manners and tricks to prove it. She wo;uld be happiest in an active adult household but would probably be fine with nice kids over 12 yrs old. Is good with most other dogs. She is stressed living at the shelter and licks some hot spots on her legs and is required to wear a cone when she is in her kennel so the spots can heal. Mist is a really nice dog who is waiting for someone who is loving, patient and can give her the activity and safe home she wants so badly. She would benefit from the assistance of a dog trainer while she adjusts to her new home situation.
UPDATE: Misty has been spending the nights as a guest in one of our volunteer's home. He reports that she is on excellent behavior and is very respectful of their home. She sleeps very quietly on her bed on the floor in the corner of their bedroom. She is calm and happy not rowdy or destructive. She doesn't beg and is completely potty trained, does her business outside on command. Her favorite toy is a floppy frisbee dics that she retrieves beautifully. An absolute delight.
