In December we traveled to Fort Worth to take Annie for a forever home. After 6 months and more training Annie is more territorial and aggressive than ever. We are located in Memphis TN, there is no rescue willing to take her. She has bitten in the past but never me, until recently. Most of time while inside our home she is the most loving dog. I would have said all of the time until last week. We have looked at every possibility locally, no options. Annie is fiercely protective. Without someone willing to take her her DVM has recommended she be put down. Time is not on her side. We love this dog, And I believe she has been happy here. When we found Annie on this site, we drove to get her. With a very heavy heart I am begging for a responsible person to respond. Since we have had her she has been spayed, and brought up to date on her shots, and microchipped. We have done everything in our power to save Annie. Annie is only 3 and maybe she has a chance to have a quality life somewhere. Someone please help, and yes, anyone willing, we will have checked out. I had rather see her come to a humane end than someone irresponsible trying to take this amazing dog.
