I have a very loving, 2 year old catahoula leopard dog named Charlie we are trying to find a loving home for. My brother was in high school when he brought Charlie home as a puppy. He thought the idea of having a puppy was great but didn't realize the responsibility. He didn't keep him up to date on his shots or continuously supply him with food or proper vet visits. The concerned person I am, I ended up taking him in since he wasn't being taken care of and made sure he got the proper care. I am now married and already have one dog in a very small house. Charlie is a very loving, protective, and fun dog, but he is just too big for our little house. We go out of town a lot and it is not easy to find proper care for him while we're gone. He usually ends up being in his kennel for hours and I feel so bad. Also, we like to allow him to play in the backyard sometimes, but we can't leave him alone out there because we have a very short chain length fence that he can jump. We have had him in my parents backyard with a normal height fence and he does fine, but since ours is so short he jumps and we cannot afford to replace it. I am turning to the catahoula rescue organization because I don't want him going to just anybody. He loves being outside, but is used to being an inside dog. If you could please post these pictures I ave provided on the available dog list I would be very grateful. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask at laurenfeldkamp87@yahoo.com; I can also send you many many pictures of him as well if you are interested.
Thank you so much for your time.
