They are not good with cats. They have a very high pray drive ... here is a lil bio i have on them .. there are pics on FB of them at the catahoula site ... i cant figure out this site to embed the pic ...
They are very bonded.
Memphis is a lil more hyper then shawnee, he did show a side i had not seen before recently. A tall male with long blonde hair came to look at him and he freaked out. He didnt like him at all. He barked and stood back in the corner away from him ... He is the blue merle. Mainly an outside dog. Doesnt like cats.
Shawnee - Red merle She is the more calm of the 2. She doesnt mind anyone but has a HIGH prey drive so cats or small animals are a deff no for her. She is very mellow. Fine with kids and loves water.
They are very bonded and I would love to try to keep them together. I am sorry it is so short. I am working , moving and raising 2 kids and trying to pack up a house all by myself. I have been begging for a month or so wherever I can to try to find them a home ... I put it off because up until a month ago my husband had a chance to come back here but that ended up falling through ... then the house we rented will only allow one dog and one cat and we are keeping the senior dog we have (a catahoula bulldog who would have a very hard time finding a home) ... Thanks so much for your help.
