Trying to keep my 'houla

I have an almost 2 yr. old neutered male Catahoula. He developed aggression to dogs late last summer-even with training it hasn't improved. During the school year (I teach) my mother took him to the dog park VERY early each morning. Because of her age, she won't be able to do this, so Spot's off leash exercise will be almost nothing.

I've started jogging with him on leash twice a day and play with him in the yard. He acts like he wants more, but will he eventually adjust to the new exercise schedule? He'll also be staying home alone during the day next school year-will he adjust?

Thanks for any insight you can provide. I love that dog, don't want to stress him, but I don't want to get rid of him either.
