just fine, Thanks for thinking of me

both my properties are in the flat irrigated farm land so I don't think I'm ever at risk for those wild fires. I could see the smoke during the day and glowing spots on the hill at night. It seems like we get a fire every year in the hills. I don't think any structures were lost here. I did make an effort to mow the dry weeds at both places to reduce the risk of fire. Things got out of hand with me being in the hospital, fewer sheep and a long rainy season. I'm working on getting things together but I have less tolerance for the heat than I did years ago. hopefully I will have better control of the weeds by net summer. I got a new well last year so I can irrigate so get more desirable grasses growing. The Bermuda grass has almost taken over the pasture. That stuff is really drought tolerant and has survived these years of drought with no irrigation. The few sheep I have left don't seem to care for it but hopefully the horse will when I get the fencing improved.
