I've been a member of the NABD since 2010 who helped me a lot with my multiple injuries claim ('Expert witness' statements and financial estimates, etc.) and advice with adapting my bike to get me riding again (permanent loss of use of right arm). I have written a couple of (hopefully inspirational)articles about my attempts and subsequent foreign riding exploits for their website and 'Open House' magazine. I also co-organised a couple of motorcycle events, raising over £1500 for the NABD which they donated to two bikers with multiple sclerosis/muscular dystrophy to have their bikes adapted since not many physically disabled bikers have the 'benefit' of personal injury compensation to fund their attempts to ride again. I've also been encouraging a young woman who was knocked from her bike and lost her hand two years ago when a passing lorry ran over her arm. A jolly good cause run by volunteers.
Thank you for your support...
