When I were young, you bought a Coke, it was in a 6-1/2 ounce bottle for your 5 cents. BIG drinks like a Nehi or Dr. Pepper were in 10 ounce bottles, and the Family Size Huge Bottle was 16 ounces.
NOW, you get single-serving drink bottle, the smallest one you can get is 20 ounces. The bigger take-along ones are 24 and 32 ounce (1 quart), and those are supposed to be single-serving too.
The drinks have gotten huge, but Ice Cream is now sold in 1-1/2 quart cartons instead of half-gallons, Bacon is sold in 12 ounce packages instead of 16 ... it's all a scam to sell you less for more, or (failing that) more for more. But always More for them, the scheming, thieving batards ...
