The clutch cable and lever are preventative (fit new ones, then carry the ones as spares) as I want to know I have spares that fit when we're out in the wilds this summer, but the brake light needs to be done before I can go for ride.
Not a productive day.
The clutch cable already on the bike has a different lever nipple to the new one, so I've had to order a ferrule thing.
The clutch lever needs a little fettling too; its pivot hole is slightly smaller than the old one.
And as I was about to crimp new terminal on the brake light switch, the bulb in my inspection light popped.
Time to come in orders and sit by the fire...
