A high priced bike is something to keep a long time.My R111 is now nearly 12 years old and value is down from 12k to around 7k so just 5k for 12 years is not bad. Last year, the new Thunderbird cost 14k. That was expensive to insure, and more than the larger bike just due to its value. My package is very good covering more than most other companies and no other company came close without really restrictive use of 1000 miles.
The 30k bike will lose a lot in one year because those who can buy one, can usually buy a new one. In 10 years it would still be near 15k and maybe a little more.
The other thing is, if you are not buying yourself something nice for a lifetimes work, the offspring will be driving the vehicle you should have bought yourself. I still cannot find any way to take the money along when i expire.
Thank you for your support...
