I posted this late last night so missed a few important notes
The PO has fitted a beltdrive so the clutch is running dry (no primary cover on it atm anyway)
The clutch drum and plates are from a B40 (easier to fit the belt, I was told)
I bought it a couple of years ago as a project and yesterday was the first I took it out on the road, so not sure if the false neutrals were there before.
My hope is that it is connected to the clutch so I will take that apart to ensure smooth operations before I decide what to do inside the box
